Gloritza DoRios Wise

Gloritza DoRios Wise, 56, of Larwill, Indiana, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Majestic Care of Jefferson Pointe. Born September 10, 1965 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of Gloria Ramirez.

After completing her high school education in Puerto Rico, Gloritza attended Purdue University for their Veterinary Program. Over the years she had worked at Masterson Chiropractic, a spectacle shop in Warsaw and was a leasing consultant for Kuder Estates Apartments in Warsaw until her health started to decline. While working as a leasing consultant, Gloritza met John Wise Jr. and on October 30, 2010, they were married at Troy Presbyterian Church in Whitley County.

Gloritza had a caring heart, she loved animals, she loved her family, and she brought her mom to Indiana from Puerto Rico to help care for her in later years.

Gloritza is survived by her husband, John Wise, Jr.; mother, Gloria Ramerez; stepchildren, Colby (April) Wise and Brittany Wise; and step-grandchildren, Hadley and Reese.

Visitation will be 4 to 6:45 p.m., Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. Funeral services will begin at 7 pm. A graveside service with her burial will take place at 11 am Thursday at Thorn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given in memory to Humane Society of Kosciusko County.
