Larry Gene Lee, 59, of Columbia City, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning, November 10, 2020 at his home. Born November 16, 1960 in Warsaw, he was the son of Robert and Maxine (England) Lee.

He graduated from Columbia City Joint High School with the Class of 1979. In 1981 he moved to Dallas, Texas for two years and returned to Whitley County. He worked at Landis Tool Grinding and Precision Plastics. Larry enjoyed motocross, was a history buff and had a love of cars, trucks and traveling.

He is survived by his sister, Bobbie Lee Neely; sister-in-law, Sue; niece, Ashton McQueen; nephews, Dale Hunter McQueen and Ron Lee; several aunts and uncles; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Ronald "Dale" Lee and Eddie Lee; and nephews, Kody McQueen and Eric David Lee.

Visitation will be 9-10 a.m. Saturday, November 14, 2020 at DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. With the current Executive Order, face masks are required for attendance. Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. with Funeral Celebrant Sharon Brockhaus officiating.
