Larry Lock

Larry C. Lock, age 84, of Larwill, IN, passed away at 5:40 pm on Monday July 12, 2021, at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home, Fort Wayne.  Born on May 22, 1937, in Wabash, IN, he was the son of Warren and Dorothy (Myers) Lock.

Larry attended Franklin Elementary and Central High School, Fort Wayne.  He graduated with the Class of 1955.  On June 6, 1987, Larry married Georgia Cummins in Fort Wayne.  Larry worked at General Electric for 31 years until his retirement in 1995.  He then worked for Group Dekko (Larwill Products) until 2002.

Larry was a member of Harvest Community Church, Pierceton.  He was also a past member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Fort Wayne and Lions Club in Larwill.

Survivors include his wife Georgia of Larwill; children Lynn Lock and Tina (Virgil) Saylor, both of Fort Wayne, Allen (Kelly) Lock of Hoagland, and Laura Lock of Auburn; step-children Karen (Junior)Bartley of Milford, Roger (Joyce White) Prater of Kodiak, TN, Randy (Shelly) Prater of West Liberty, IA, and Mary (Kevin) Leach of Larwill; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; siblings Milford Lock and Carol Love, both of Warsaw, Jack (Sharon) Lock of Elkhart, and David Lock and Betty Ricki, both of Fort Wayne.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Ronald and Clarence Lock, and half-sister Wanda Carter.

Friends may call on Thursday July 15, 2021, from 4-8 pm at DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home. 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City.

Funeral services for Larry will be held at 10:00 am on Friday July 16, 2021, at the funeral home.

Burial will follow in South Park Annex Cemetery, Columbia City.
