Linda Lou Gosnell

Linda Lou (Burnworth) Gosnell, 80, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2022 at her home with her daughter's by her side. Born May 6, 1942 in Pierceton, she was the daughter of Carl and Betty (Tuttle) Burnworth.

Growing up in Pierceton, Linda and her family attended Morris Chapel United Methodist Church. She graduated from Pierceton High School with the Class of 1960 and went on to college at Ball State. After college, Linda moved to Fort Wayne and retired from Magnavox in Fort Wayne with over 20 years with the company.

Linda was a faithful member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne and also a member of the American Legion in Leo. She was an avid bowler, loved watching the Chicago Cubs on TV or at Wrigley Field, and she loved her dogs and cats. She stayed active and enjoyed senior games, especially playing bingo.

Linda is survived by her loving daughters, Michelle (Don Fisher) Rentfrow and Wendy (Steve) Wilson; grandchildren, Aaron Rentfrow, Steven Wilson, Racheal Heath, Nicole Wilson, Christian (Richard) Pinson, Lisa (Jesse) Babb, and Dustin Trim; 17 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandsons. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Gosnell; and younger sister, Kathy Presnall.

Visitation will be 11 to 12:45 pm Friday, December 2, 2022 at DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. Funeral services will begin at 1 pm with Pastor Tim Graham officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her parents at Hillcrest Cemetery.
