Mary R Buckhardt

Mary R. Buckhardt, 60, of Columbia City, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at her home. Born September 3, 1959 in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of Jackie Norman and Joann (Emerick) Shuler. Mary spent her lifetime in the Churubusco area and had worked for Meijer, Fort Wayne.

Mary is survived by her siblings including, Jack Shuler, Fort Wayne, Lewis Shuler, Angola and Debbie Bray of Monroe, MI; her surviving children are, Jason Langston, Fort Wayne, Joseph Langston, Parma, OH, Michael Buckhardt, II, Churubusco, Nicole Johnson, Clarksville, and  Monique Martin, Fort Wayne. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Jon Buckhardt.

A gathering of family and friends will be 4-6:00, Monday, August 3, 2020 at DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. Funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Roger M. Mullet of Faith Lutheran Church. With the current Executive Order, face masks are required for attendance. Burial will be held at 10:00a.m. Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at the Bowers Cemetery, 9101 Stellhorn Road, Fort Wayne.
