Michael David Hadaway

Michael D. Hadaway, 41, of South Whitley left us Friday, August 25, 2023, to be with Our Lord.  

Michael is survived by his wife, Jennifer Hadaway; two children, Nathaniel Couch-Linton and Anna Linton; his mother, Debra Broom; stepdad, Robert Broom; three brothers, Jacob Sorg, Bobby and Alex Broom; and one sister, Nicole Love.  He had many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and a niece.  Michael has many friends and was loved by all who met him.  

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, David Hadaway and father-in-law, John Linton.  He lived life to the fullest.  Michael loved his family and loved spending time with family and friends.  He loved to hunt, fish, ride his motorcycles, and was a proud member of the Local American Legion.  He was a very generous person and would help anyone.  Michael had a huge heart.  He was proud to be a big brother, stepdad; and husband.  He was a wonderful son and will be missed dearly by everyone who knew him.  

Visitation will be 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 6:00 pm.
