Nell Faurote

Nell W. Faurote, age 90, of Columbia City, IN, passed away at 8:50 am on Friday March 5, 2021 at Sage Bluff Health & Rehabilitation, Fort Wayne.  Born on July 30, 1930 in Jackson, KY, she was the daughter of Charles and Mattie Lou (Robertson) Banks.

Nell attended Kentucky Schools and moved to Indiana in 1961.  She was a homemaker and member of Freewill Baptist Church in Columbia City.

Survivors include children Victoria Runyan of Columbia City, Kristi (Jack) Bevans of Indianapolis, Laura of Goshen, and Tim Faurote of Pierceton; 8 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Chester, Holton, Grover, and Carrie Banks, Martha Walters, Mary Creech, Florence Richey, Josephine Johnson, Ruby Newton, Reva Grable, and Juanita Claxton, husband Max Faurote, and son Clifton Banks.

Funeral services for Nell will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday March 25, 2021 at DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City, with calling one hour prior to service.Face masks are required for attendance. Burial in Greenhill  Cemetery, Columbia City.
