Charles Fredrick Levitz

Charles Fredrick Levitz, 83, of Columbia City, Indiana passed away Thursday, August 8, 2024, at home. Born February 8, 1941, in Sturgis, Michigan he was a son of the late Charles and Beulah (Campbell) Levitz. 

On September 10, 1960, he married Karen Sleighter in Mongo, Indiana. Charles worked at Whitley Products and was a meat cutter at Pletcher's Meat Market in Pierceton, Indiana. He also worked at McConnell's and Stanz. After he left Stanz Charles worked at Walmart as a sea food lead.

Charles loved to bass fish and deer hunting. In June of this year Charles went to Minnesota on a fishing trip with his brother. 

Charles is survived by his loving wife, Karen; sons, Charles (Connie) Levitz, IV, and Barry Levitz; daughter, Lindsey (Paul) Rapp; five brothers; four sisters; one grandson, two step-grandsons; and 2 step-granddaughters. Along his parents Charles was preceded in death by a brother. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
