Clarabell Ressler

Clarabell Ressler, age 91, of Columbia City, IN, passed away at 2:18 pm on Thursday, December, 20, 2018 at Miller's Merry Manor, Columbia City. Born on October 2, 1927 in Churubusco, IN, she was the daughter of William and Lalah (Zolman) Rowland.
Clarabell attended Churubusco schools and then moved to Columbia City in 1942. On September 2, 1950 she married Ralph Emerson Ressler in Columbia City.
Clarabell worked for Blue Bell, Club 30 Restaurant, and lastly at Whitley County Hospital. She was a member of Columbia City VFW and F.O.E. Lodge Auxiliaries.
Survivors include her sister June Wilson; brother Walter (Carol) Rowland; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ralph, sisters Nellie Duggins, Shirley Ann Rowland, and Jean Hanson, and brothers Alles Cunningham, Murray, Curtiss and Mark Rowland.
Friends may call on Thursday January 10, 2019 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at DeMoney-Grimes, a Life Story Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City.
A graveside service will then follow at 12:30 pm at South Park Annex Cemetery, Columbia City.
