Craig E. Lock

November 1, 1951 — February 13, 2020

Craig E. Lock, 68, of Columbia City, Indiana, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2020 at his home. Born November 1, 1951 in Whitley County, he was the son of Paul R. and Marjorie I. (Breisch) Lock.

He graduated from Columbia City Joint High School with the Class of 1970. Craig worked for Dana Weatherhead for over 25 years and was a truck driver for several years Craig enjoyed riding motorcycles, mowing his lawn, ice fishing, mushroom hunting, volunteering at the Impact Center Food Pantry and rooting on the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Survivors include his daughter, Stacy Lock; son, Justin Lock; brothers, Daniel (Lisa) Lock and Jim (Cindy) Lock; sister, Paula (Loren) Kauffman; grandchildren, Garrett, Mackenzie, Raelynn, and Drake; great-grandchildren, Evangelynn and Mercy. He was preceded in death by his parents; son; Scott; daughter, Corinna; and grandson, Gage Wildley.

A gathering of family and friends will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. at the funeral home Thursday. He will be laid to rest near his parents at Nolt Cemetery. Pastor Aaron Brockman of Columbia City Victory Christian Fellowship will be officiating.
