Danielle S. Moreau

Danielle S. Moreau, 70, of Columbia City, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, June 1, 2023 at her home. Born December 23, 1952 in San Francisco, California, she was the daughter of Jane L. (Watson) Ward and George C. Ward.

She graduated from John O'Connell High School in San Francisco and attended San Francisco State University. Danielle eventually moved to the midwest to be near her Uncle Rodger. She worked as an administrative assistant at the University of Michigan. While in Michigan she was baptized at Living Water Lutheran Church. Danielle loved listening to jazz music and supporting local artists. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She was a kind and caring person who engendered friendship and good will. At retirement, she moved to Columbia City, Indiana where she would be near her family.

Danielle is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Tammy Ward of California; sister, Elizabeth Ward of California; step-father, George C. Ward of California; aunt, Josie Smith of Columbia City; nephew, Tim Levy; and multiple cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother; and a brother, William "Billy" Singleton.

Per Danielle's wishes, she will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at 4pm June 15th, 2023 at Klugston Senior Living Center Parlor.
