Donald L. Clark

Donald L. Clark, 78, of Columbia City, Indiana, passed away Monday evening, June 12, 2023 at Lutheran Hospital. Born February 25, 1945 in Columbia City, he was the son of Elmer L.  and Lucy E. (Rarick) Clark.

He graduated from Columbia City High School with the Class of 1963 and went on to serve in the U.S. Army for the next four years during the Vietnam War. On April 27, 1968, he married Linda M. Jamieson in Churubusco. Don retired from Sprint Telephone Company with 25 years of service. He was a member of American Legion in Columbia City.

Don is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Todd  and Michelle Clark; grandchildren, Megan (Tyler) Meyer, Madison (Dillon) Moss and Tanner Clark; and a great-granddaughter, Hadley Moss. Along with his parents, Don was preceded in death by his wife Linda M. Clark in 2001; and brothers, Kenneth  Clark, Raymond Clark and Roger Clark.

A memorial visitation will be 4 to 7 pm Friday, June 16, 2023 at DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. A private burial will take place where he will be laid to rest beside his wife at Greenhill Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given in his memory to the American Cancer Society.
