Greyson Joe Macy

Baby Greyson Joe Macy, 5 months old, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at his home. He was welcomed five weeks earlier than expected on July 27, 2017. Weighing 4 pounds and 5.8 oz at 17" tall, he was born at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.

Even though he was here on earth for a short time, he quickly made an impact on his loving family. He loved getting kissed on his cheeks, watching people, playing with his hands, and hearing his mom's voice.

He is survived by his loving mother, Sydnee Ann Macy; grandparents, Jon Macy, of Fort Wayne and Dennise Daniels-Johnston, of New York City, NY; great-grandparents, Tammy Daniels of Columbia City and Jack and Marty Macy, of South Whitley; a special great-uncle, Brandon Daniels ; two special aunts, Josie and Zoë Wells; godmother, Nichole Walker; and many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by his great-grandpa, Joe Daniels.

Visitation is from 1-2:45 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2018 at DeMoney-Grimes, a Life Story Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Dr., Columbia City. His funeral service will begin at 3p.m. with Pastor Tim Scroggs officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made toward his funeral expenses in care of DeMoney-Grimes.
