Jeanna R. Boyles

Jeanna R. Boyles, 64, of Kimmell, Indiana, passed away at 12:54 a.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at her home. Born June 30, 1954 in Whitley County, she was the daughter of Kelly Taulbee Jr. and Marjorie (Bills) Geiger.

A lifetime resident of Noble County, Jeanna grew up attending the Ormas Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing with her brother, spending time with family, dancing and listening to music. Jeanna graduated from Central Noble High School with the Class of 1972. In 1973, she made her residence by Smalley Lake and has lived there ever since.

She had worked for Dana Weatherhead for 31 years and at the Ligonier's Owens Grocery Store for 13 years, retiring from the Deli department. Jeanna loved spending time with her family, friends, neighbors and being around children. She found relaxation by tending to her garden, going camping and being outdoors.

Survivors include her stepfather, Ted Geiger, of Big Lake; brothers, Kelly (Sharon) Taulbee, of Columbia City, Michael (Teri) Taulbee, of Kendallville, Kevin Geiger, of Big Lake and John (Dottie) Geiger, of Albion; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her beloved dog, Rusty.

A private graveside service will be held at Thorn Cemetery where she will be laid to rest beside her mother. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Humane Society of Noble County.
