Joyce Treesh

Joyce Treesh, 71, of Columbia City, passed away at 12:01 p.m. Monday, January 22, 2018 at Parkview Whitley Hospital. Born April 16, 1946 in New York, she was the daughter of Ralph, Sr. and Mary (Sheets) Corner.

She attended Whitko High School and would go on to marry Richard "Dick" Treesh. Besides being a wife and mother, she babysat for many children over the years. Joyce enjoyed playing bingo, fishing, reading and working her puzzle books.

Survivors include her husband, Dick Treesh; son, Stephen Treesh, of Columbia City; mother, Mary Corner, of Columbia City; sisters, Cheryl Corner, of Columbia City and Kathryn Hamel, of Linton; and brother; Ralph Treesh, Jr., of Columbia City. She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Corner, Sr. and an infant son.
