Margaret I. Thomas

Margaret I. Thomas, 98, formerly of Columbia City, IN, passed away on September 12, 2018 in Sierra Vista, AZ. She was born Margaret Gradeless to Ruth and Elmer Gradeless of Larwill, IN.

Margaret retired from North American Phillips. Much of her retirement was spent enjoying family and watching her humming birds. Margaret's travels included Ireland, Egypt, Hawaii, Alaska and the Caribbean.

She was mother to Judy Akins, Phyllis Baker and Melinda Prentiss. Margaret is survived by one sister, two daughters, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on October 8, 2018 at 1:00 PM at St. Matthew's Cemetery 1460 E. 500 N., Columbia City. Local arrangements with DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, Columbia City.
