Mildred Mae Dovey

Mildred Mae Dovey, age 91, of Larwill, IN, passed away at 6:48 pm on Monday March 18, 2019 at Parkview Whitley Hospital, Columbia City. She was born on May 23, 1927 in Fort wayne, IN.

Mildred attended catholic grade school and South Side High School in Fort Wayne. She married Dale Dovey on April 6,1947 in Fort Wayne and worked most of her career as a hotel receptionist. Mildred enjoyed camping, family gatherings, bird watching, and was an avid reader.

Survivors include her daughters Darleen (Pat) McGinnis of Larwill, and Sue Bland, Sharon Gibson, and Debra (Dennis) Schleppi, all of Fort Wayne; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Dale Dovey.
