Patrick Joseph Watson

Patrick Joseph Watson, age 73, of Columbia City, IN, passed away at 7:15 am on Thursday August 24, 2023, at The Waters, Columbia City.  Born on August 21, 1950, in Coronado, California, he was the son of James Joseph and Dolly Kathryn (Brightman) Watson.

Patrick attended Marion Catholic High School in San Diego, CA and graduated with the Class of 1968.  He then attended San Diego State University and earned a bachelor’s degree.  Patrick proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a member of the National Rifle Association.

Survivors include his children Brigette (Steven) Wyland of Columbia City and Timothy Joseph Watson of El Cajon, CA; grandchildren Ashley Rae Wallis of Fort Wayne, Andrew Jacob Wallis, and Sean Steven Wyland, both of Columbia City; siblings James Joseph Watson, Kathleen Mary Watson, and Daniel Joseph Watson, all of San Diego, CA.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Michael Joseph Watson, Kevin Joseph Watson, and Brian Joseph Watson.

A private family service will be held for Patrick’s family.

Burial in Glen Abbey Memorial Park, Bonita, CA.
