Sandra L. Morse

Sandra L. Morse, age 68, of Columbia City, IN, passed away on Sunday March 5, 2023, at her residence.  Born on June 23, 1954, in Detroit, MI, she was the daughter of Arnold and Patricia (Fryer) Hohf.

Sandra attended Howell High School, Howell, MI, and graduated with the Class of 1972.  She then attended Ferris State College and earned her associate degree in social work.  Sandra was a lifelong homemaker.  She was a member of New Hope Wesleyan Church, Columbia City, Awana South Whitley Baptist Church, and Whitko High School Band Boosters.  Sandra enjoyed coloring pictures, gardening flowers, and scrapbooking.

Survivors include her loving husband of 45 years, Russell Morse of Columbia City; sons Dan (Amber) Morse of South Whitley and Nolan (Kelsay) Morse of Winona Lake; granddaughters Emma and Abby Morse; brothers Randy (Sandy) Hohf of Montana and Russell Hohf of Seattle, WA.

She was preceded in death by her parents Arnold and Patricia Hohf, daughter Grace E. Morse, and granddaughter Haddi Brielle Morse.

Funeral services for Sandra will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday March 9, 2023, at DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City, with calling from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm.

Memorial contributions in memory of Sandra may be made to New Hope Wesleyan Church.
