Sharon Grace Nethercutt

Sharon Grace Nethercutt, age 62, of Columbia City, IN, passed away at 3:16 pm on Tuesday June 20, 2023, at her residence.  Born on December 6, 1960, in Logansport, IN, she was the daughter of Devon and Ellen (Heater) St. Clair.

Sharon attended Caston High School and graduated with the Class of 1978.  She married David T. Harris in 1979 and later married Kurt Nethercutt in 1983 then studied secretarial courses.  Sharon moved to Columbia City in 2014.

Sharon worked as an administrative secretary for the early years of her career and was a caregiver to others in her later years.  She also volunteered at the YMCA in her free time.

Sharon had a love of dogs and also enjoyed flowers, gardening, camping, swimming, cruises, time at the beach, and caring for others.

Survivors include her son David Harris of Syracuse; granddaughter Khloe Harris of Syracuse; siblings Susan Wallner of Denver, CO, Shirley Hinman of Roselawn, and Samuel St. Clair of Larwill; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Steve St. Clair and infant twins Sarah and Stanley St. Clair.

A memorial service to honor Sharon’s life will be held at a later date near her hometown of Fletcher’s Lake.
