Victoria "Vicki" R. Ream

June 22, 1948 — January 11, 2018

Vicki Ream loved living life to the fullest extent just as much as she did her family and friends. The third of four children born to Frederick L. and Mary Opal (Zimmerman) Bullinger Victoria R. arrived on June 22, 1948 in Goshen, IN.
Vicki attended Walkerton High School and graduated with the Class of 1966, then went on to attend Purdue University for three years. She left there to become a flight attendant, but that was not meant to be. Vicki worked several different jobs, including at a pickle factory, where she met the man of her dreams Robert Ream. The two were certainly meant to be and on July 13, 1971 were married at a fire station in Fort Wayne, IN, dressed simply in t-shirts and cutoffs. The majority of her working career was spent at North American. It was there that Vicki made many connections, including being part of the "Lunch Bunch" that ate together daily, making her 30+ years of service so enjoyable.
In her free time Vicki was an avid reader and enjoyed books by John Sandford, Jane Austen, and various other mystery novels. Vicki's favorite movies of all time were Fried Green Tomatoes and Steel Magnolias.
Traveling was another hobby for Vicki and she enjoyed seeing the sights from trips to Italy, Venezula, and Florida where she could spend time with family.
Other special occasions were Thanksgiving and Christmas, where gatherings occurred yearly at her parents' home in Walkerton.
Best described, Vicki had quite the quirky sense of humor, well known to many, would make you scratch your head and laugh. All of these wonderful attributes will be immensely missed and dearly treasured permanently in our hearts.
