Yvonne "Bonnie" Coyle

Yvonne "Bonnie" Coyle, 84, of rural Columbia City, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at while having coffee with her husband at their home on Big Lake. Born June 21, 1939 in Fed, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Gordon and Elsie (Stanley) Newsome.

At the age of 12, Bonnie's family moved up to Noble County, Indiana. On June 26, 1963, she married Kay Coyle in Fort Wayne. Bonnie worked at Essex in Ligonier and for 32 years was at Fiber Form, retiring in 2000. Bonnie was loving, caring and was strong willed. She enjoyed being with her family, cleaning, camping and fishing.

Bonnie is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Kay Coyle; sister and brother-in-law, W. Gail and Terry Brumbaugh; grandsons, Jeremy Shoda and Jason  Shoda; five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews, Lorraine, Shane, Mel, Brenda, Tammy, Amy and Rick. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Karla Coyle-Kammeyer; son, Ron Shoda and daughter-in-law, Sharon Shoda.

A private celebration of Bonnie's life will be held. She will be laid to rest beside her daughter and son at South Park Annex Cemetery at a later date.  Memorial donations may be given in memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
