Brian Michael Sanders, age 30, of Columbia City, IN, passed away on Tuesday June 20, 2023, at his residence. Born on April 29, 1993, in Angola, IN, he was the son of Penny (Kline) Matchett and Donald E. Sanders, Jr.
Brian attended Columbia City High School and graduated with the Class of 2012.
He worked for Warner Electric as a production associate. Brian enjoyed writing fantasy stories and was very proficient at drawing in his free time.
Survivors include his mother Penny (Brad) Matchett of Columbia City, father Donald (Tammy) Sanders, Jr. of Wawaka; siblings Megan Sanders of Albion, Keara (Sheldon Charles) Young of Auburn, Harold Keith Matchett and Joseph Adam (Carissa) Sanders, both of Columbia City, Ingrid Matchett of Churubusco, Kaylee (Grace) Coverstone of Mishawaka, and Brett (Adam) Coverstone of Elkhart; grandparents Karen Kline of Columbia City, Don Sanders, Sr. of Ligonier, and Pinkie Sanders of West Virginia; aunts Tina (Robert) Young of Spencerville and Melissa Sanders of Fremont; uncles Adam (Roberta) Kline of Columbia City and Michael Kline of Fort Wayne; nieces Azeena Young, Skylar Smith, and Aubreigh Smith; nephews Keegan Young and Abel Smith; numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by grandfather Don Kline and uncle Ron Kline.
